As family, we hung out with my mom, my sister, my dad, and my boyfriend for Korean lunar New Years. We went to eat Korean meat combo at San Maru restaurant. After that we went to Jewel Box Cafe to eat Nutella crepe with banana and hot drinks. My sister ordered the avocado smoothie while I ordered the 12oz hot chocolate and my dad ordered Americano. The Nutella crepe was delicious! After that we went to Thornton movie theater and we watched the movie, "Identity Theft" movie was too long for a comedy movie though. Although I had a feeling I know why they made the movie long. At least both of my parents laughed, so that's all it matters. We took fun derp pictures before the movie. I'm glad I thought of that idea especially after derp pictures, my boyfriend told me that he was falling sleepy but the derp pictures made him wide awake! :D
After that we went our separate ways. Boyfriend went to his home straight. My dad, my mom, my sister and I ride dad's white rental car. My sister was telling me how smooth his ride was and hoped that her car will be like that someday too.
As we got to my Mom's apartment. She had this rule policy where no males allowed in their place. So we spent downstairs at the lobby, talking about our childhood. Stories were interesting like how McDonald saved our hunger. When we were traveling from Michigan to California by car. I thought it was by plane, but I guess that was Alaska. So that's why we traveled a lot. Since McDonald was cheaper to eat, we ate off from the value menu. While we were traveling, my dad almost lost his money. Plus he had to arrive on Sunday to Los Angeles. He explained how tired he was, that he kind of went mentally crazy. He pushed the gas petal thinking it was uphill, but my mom told him that he's going downhill. He told my mom that it's not downhill until he got out of the car. He threw up all over the ground because he was dehydrate and tired. We were basically driving from the deserts since Arizona is where we were. We got to Los Angeles on time though. My dad paid the lawyer to get us the green card but my dad got scammed by the Korean lawyer who is family with elderly pastor we grew up with. My dad paid $5,000 to the lawyer thinking he will get his green card renewed faster. And then when we got to Alaska, our green card was expired, so he told us we had to go to the court in Anchorage, Alaska. Instead of panicking, my mom told me that my dad looked calm but inside he was very nervous. Basically someone in the church decided to report to the immigration officer that we are illegal immigrants :( but my dad begged to stay longer until my sister and I am done with elementary school. So going back to court trial, it was scheduled after 10 months later. Me and my sister, we didn't know that our parents went through that. Now we know now.
So he told us this for almost hour and half. The security guard were saying hello here and there.
After that me and my sister went upstairs because my dad needed to talk to my mom more.
My sister wanted to watch a movie, but I was too tired plus I had a sudden migraine so I slept around 3am? Anyways picture times!!
